Ms. Mamta Oza, the Chief Marketing & Exhibitions Manager – Plastindia Foundation, was the flag bearer from India, representing India as a country and showcasing PLASTINDIA 2018 at ROSMOULD - ROSPLAST 2017 - the 3-day conference cum exhibition held at Moscow from 20th to 22nd June 2017.
The 12th edition of the international exhibition ROSMOULD : ‘Moulds-Die Moulds-Stamps’ and the 8th edition of the international exhibition ROSPLAST: ‘Plastic-Equipment-Items’ is a joint exposition of the two projects, which allows representatives from various industries to demonstrate a whole range of goods and services in the field of production from ‘idea to finished product’.
The official exhibition opening ceremony began with a welcome speech of the President of “ROSMOULD” and “ROSPLAST” Dmitry Sorokorensky, who wished to all participants and visitors productive discussions, new business relationships and successful projects. The President of the “Association of Plastics Processors” M. L. Katsevman continued highlighting the significant contribution of exhibitions to the support of domestic plastics processors and the plastics industry as a whole. The President of “Mesago Messe Frankfurt Group” and the representative of the project “FORMNEXT” (Germany) Petra Haarburger drew attention to the importance of the mold industry and spoke about the cooperation between the exhibitions and the countries for further development of the industry of moulds in her speech. The Chief Marketing & Exhibitions Manager at ‘Plastindia Foundation’ Ms. Mamta Oza presented the scenario of the Indian Plastics Industry and showcased the most awaited event in the Plastics Industry across the globe – PLASTINDIA 2018.
According to the official data of the Organizing Committee 162 companies from 18 countries took part at the exhibitions. Among the variety of companies showcasing their products at the exhibition, more than 40% have specialized in the manufacture of shape-generating equipment for injection moulding, including a full range of services from design and engineering, modelling and prototyping and finally, production of moulds, die-moulds, stamps and finished products of any complexity. For the first time Indian manufacturers of injection moulds for complex plastic products ‘Daniel & Sons Pvt Ltd.’, ‘M/s Vasantha Tool Crafts Pvt Ltd’ & SUNKEM Industries represented the Indian contingent of exhibitors to penetrate the Russian market. The significant part of the exposition was presented by the manufacturers and suppliers of 3D equipment and components for 3D printing.
Ms. Mamta Oza, apart from being a speaker at the conference, also conducted meetings with the Association of Plastics Processors, Russian Federation & MNPC Russia to invite the Russian Business Delegation to visit PLASTINDIA 2018. During her interactions, she explained the pioneering initiative of Plastindia foundation – the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) scheme as part of the Meet2Trade. As a result, MNPC has already confirmed around 60 business visitors from Russia and other CIS countries to participate in PLASTINDIA 2018.
Ms Mamta Oza, while sharing her experience stated that ‘Together both exhibitions demonstrated to the visitors, the diversity of exposition and allowed seeing the latest technological developments, getting useful contacts and expanding business cooperation’.
